PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT IN MANUFACTURING

Why are you still stopping-the-line to check machines?

Change to continuous predictive maintenance – and keep the line moving.

Continuously monitor the condition of essential plant equipment.

Problems with unplanned maintenance:

The phone never stops ringing – usually after the line’s already down

Production wants the line running – you want it stopped long enough to fix it properly

Unplanned downtime costs more than planned – on a manufacturing line, every hour of stoppage is an hour of missed output, not just a repair bill

Proactive repairs cost 4 to 5 times less than emergency repairs.

Get precise recommendations you can action before they become emergencies.

Why are you wasting time fixing broken things?

Get an advanced condition monitoring system for your critical machines. So that you can fix faults before they lead to failure – and go home on time.

How does how our system work with preventative maintenance?

  1. We install Canary sensors on essential equipment – to continuously measure vital parameters.
  1. Our experts monitor and interpret the data, based on 25+ years of experience in condition monitoring.
  1. We give you evidence-based recommendations for maintenance.
  1. You perform preventative maintenance according to a planned schedule.
  1. We follow up and validate the repair.

Ask our condition monitoring engineer how it would work in your factory.

Measurements we do

Each machine gets a custom-scoped solution.

Parameters:

We don’t want you to dig through piles of data

Our experts assess the data and provide you with recommendations for preventative action.

And then we track it until the case is closed.

Failure Modes we detect

Our highly sensitive Canary data loggers pick up deviations long before others do. (Which is why we design and manufacture our own sensors.)

CASE STUDY

Motor Slip Rings – Electrical Fault Detection

The Situation
An electrical problem was developing on a wound-rotor motor’s slip rings, building up gradually over more than a year.

Fault Detection
Ultrasonic monitoring picked up spark activity at the slip rings. The client was advised on multiple occasions to inspect the slip rings for damage or brush wear, check for arcing, and check for dirt build-up.

Problem Averted
The motor was changed. Ultrasonic levels dropped back down afterward, confirming the fault had been resolved before it caused a failure.

ICU – for Intense Machine Conditions

When we're aware there’s trouble with a critical machine – and you can’t afford for it to be shut down while you prepare the fix. We put those machines into our “ICU Mode” which increases surveillance.
