Maintenance teams struggle when
Something breaks and their phones don’t stop ringing
Production wants the machine running – but it needs to be stopped to be fixed
Unplanned downtime costs more than planned maintenance
Proactive repairs cost 4 to 5 times less than emergency repairs.
Get precise recommendations you can action before they become emergencies.
“Reactive maintenance costs four to five times as much simply because failed equipment reduces overall plant productivity, causes inventory backup and reduces overall efficiency.”

OEM systems tell you the machine is running – Ours tell you what to do to keep it running
Stop operating half blind – get an online monitoring system to show the precise status of machine health 24/7.
We flag anomalies before the bearing seizes or the gearbox strips a tooth.
Take preventative action in the workshop before the machine breaks down.
Nobody likes a critical machine to break down
Production stops while you wait for new parts.
It’s better to get a Motornostix condition monitoring system - before there is even a whisper in the machine.
We don’t want you to dig through piles of data
Our experts assess the data and provide you with recommendations for preventative action.
And then we track it until the case is closed.
The Failure Modes we detect
Our highly sensitive Canary data loggers pick up deviations long before others do. (Which is why we design and manufacture our own sensors.)

CASE STUDY
The Ball Mill Gearbox – Gear Tooth Wear
The Situation
A walk-in mill gearbox was crucial for cement production. Defects were identified, but the machine needed to last 5 weeks until the new parts came. It was placed in Motornostix ICU and closely monitored.
Fault Detection
Spectral analysis showed elevated levels at gear mesh frequency, with sidebands spaced at pinion shaft speed and its multiples. The time waveform confirmed this, with impacts spaced at pinion speed — indicating gear wear.
Problem Averted
Gear tooth wear was identified, well ahead of failure. The machine was saved and production continued.
The client said, “This system has most certainly assisted us in preventing major catastrophic failures on this gearbox!”
